Medalia Kate Greenaway este un premiu literar care se acordă anual unui ilustrator britanic pentru cea mai distinsă carte pentru copii publicată în timpul anului școlar precedent, din partea CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals - denumită anterior Library Association).
Medalia poartă numele ilustratoarei engleze de cărți pentru copii din secolul al XIX-lea Kate Greenaway (1846–1901).
Prima medalie a fost acordată în 1957.
Medalia Greenaway însoțește medalia Carnegie, care se acordă unui autor pentru cea mai distinsă carte pentru copii. Cărțile nominalizate trebuie publicate mai întâi în Regatul Unit în limba engleză.

Premiul acordat de CILIP este o medalie de aur și cărți în valoare de 500 de lire sterline donate bibliotecii alese de ilustrator. Din 2000 există, de asemenea, un premiu în bani de 5000 de lire sterline dintr-un moștenire al colecționarului de cărți pentru copii Colin Mears.
